Our Gabriola ferry (MV Quinsam), unloaded and berthed at the island dock. There are 16 return trips daily from the city of Nanaimo (on Vancouver Island) to Gabriola Island. Sailings are scheduled approximately once an hour and the voyage takes 20 minutes one way. Maximum load capacity is 70 vehicles and 400 passengers. The return ticket is purchased on the Nanaimo side, so no ticket is required when you are ready to leave!
